The PRIMA Foundation seized World Women’s Day 2024 to unveil its EU funded initiative, the “PRIMA Woman Greening Food Systems in the Mediterranean” award, underscoring the indispensable role of women in cultivating sustainable food systems.

The Mara-Mediterra Partnership strongly welcomes this new initiative, which is aimed at recognizing and celebrating the actions of women in advancing sustainable and resilient food systems. Indeed, the newly introduced “PRIMA Woman Greening Food Systems Award in the Mediterranean Region” seeks to recognize the contributions of women who have been at the forefront of driving positive change within the food and agriculture sector across the Mediterranean.
