The Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) in the Mara-Mediterra Partnership has organized a special session during the Cairo Water Week 2023, entitled Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) Role in serving the community through its international cooperation with PRIMA Foundation.
Welcome addresses will be provided by ECU’s Vice-President, Prof. Rasha Elkholy and Dr. Sonata Ebrahim as representative of the ECU Board of Trustees. ECU’s involvement in the Mara-Mediterra research activities will be presented by ECU’s Teamleader Prof. Alaa El-Din Abdin as well as by Dr. Mohamed Embaby and Eng. Mohab Negm who will introduce the wetlands aquaponics facility constructed by ECU and the activities of the ECU Living Lab.
The session is being joined by Mara-Mediterra project coordinator, Dr. Vasileios Takavakoglou, together with Dr. Georgios Arampatzis, and Eleanna Pana on behalf of SWRI, Greece; the project communication managers Anna Spiteri, and Dirk De Ketelaere from IRMCo, Malta and Tarek Habib, TENSOR, who is overseeing the funding opportunities for the action plans that are currently being developed by the Living Labs.
