Hosted by the Egyptian Chinese University (ECU) the Final conference will take place on 10 June 2025. The conference programme together with a brief overview of the Mara-Mediterra project can be accessed through this link.

The morning session is dedicated to presenting Mara-Mediterra’s achievements, including the key outcomes of and achievements of the Living Labs that were set up in 5 hotspots of land and water degradation. The afternoon programme is split in two sessions: invited presentations on the outcomes and achievements from EU funded projects sharing similar objectives will be fused with an interactive mapping exercise, with the aim to produce shared vision statements. This will be followed by a policy forum session, including a panel discussion with invited speakers and an interactive forum in which all participants will be able to give their inputs and feedback.
