Mara-Mediterra proudly participated in the Forward Green Expo International Exhibition in Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center, Greece. Organized during 13 to 15 March 2025, the event is one of Southeast Europe’s premier exhibitions dedicated to sustainability and green innovation.
Promoting synergies with ongoing projects
As part of a dynamic joint initiative, Mara-Mediterra joined forces with eight EU-funded projects to present their latest progress in promoting agri-environmental Nature-Based Solutions (NbSs). These efforts focus on enabling the green transition in agriculture, fostering a circular economy, promoting the sustainable use of local resources, and addressing environmental degradation—all with the aim of supporting resilient rural development across the Mediterranean region.
Anchored by the Mara-Mediterra project (Grant Agreement No. 2121), funded by PRIMA under Horizon 2020, and the collaborative presentation was supported through the partnership with:
- GOV4ALL (Horizon Europe, EU Mission: A Soil Deal for Europe)
- SEACURE (Horizon Europe, EU Missions: A Soil Deal for Europe & Restore our Ocean and Waters by 2030)
- VENUS (funded by PRIMA under Horizon 2020, GA No. 2312)
- Four EIP-Agri Operational Groups under Greece’s Rural Development Programme 2014–2020:
- Micro-Terroir (M16SYN2-00159)
- OLIVEUP (M16SYN2-00066)
- TOBACCO-OPTI (M16SYN2-00363)
- WETinAGRI (M16SYN2-00364)
