Mara-Mediterra’s fourth training set is dedicated to the topic of cover crops.

The benefits brought by cover crops include the control of soil erosion, improvement of soil fertility, microclimate regulation, nutrient regulation and weed suppression.

The training material also discusses the agronomic management of cover crops, as well as the different types of uses of cover crops.

The training material is linked to the testimony of Lorenzo Tanini, a farmer who tills the land in the province of Firenze, Italy.
